Marvel fans can't wait to see alternate versions of their favorite superheroes on the upcoming What If…? Animated Disney+ series. Not to mention that a few MCU vets will be returning to voice their characters for the show. On that note, fans would also like to see an alternate reality with Iron Man in it, and it looks like the studio has already teased the possibility of that happening a few months back.
Disney+ included the "Expanding the Universe" special on the streaming platform when it first launched in the US. Aside from featuring the future of the MCU, it also teased some new content coming soon. Of course, one of those is the animated series, which includes an epic art that gives a new look to Iron Man.
As pointed out by Redditor /u/_HappyTheMan_, in the 7:22 mark of the special, a photo of Iron Man is seen wearing his Avengers 1 armor but with the addition of a Sakaaraan body armor and paint, seemingly suggesting that Tony Stark will be heading to the gladiator planet in a potential episode.

Though Robert Downey Jr.'s days as Iron Man are done, Jeff Goldblum revealed in a previous interview that he recorded for the Grandmaster's voice for an episode, and even mentioned that Iron Man will be in it. However, a few days following that interview, reports have gone around saying the actor just misspoke about Downey Jr. being on the show.
That said, Goldblum's comments and the art showed on the special could tie to a potential episode with Iron Man in it. It's unclear who'll be providing the voice but it's exciting to see Iron Man once again.
What If...? is set to premiere on Disney+ in Summer 2021.
