Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox came to a close this week, and while the Mickey Mouse House might be celebrating the deal's completion, others aren't so sure about what to feel. Sure, Marvel fans might be excited to see the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and all of Fox's other mutants make their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but others are a bit concerned about Disney's ballooning size.
What's going to happen when the Walt Disney Company takes over the entire entertainment industry (or a pretty good portion of it? Taking to social media, netizens have been expressing their anxiety in memes. One fan turned Disney CEO Bob Iger into Thanos, playing with the Mad Titan's tagline in Avengers: Infinity War.

Another fan turned Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige into the Executioner, character fans might remember as Skurge in Thor: Ragnarok. The meme is definitely a sharp jab at Feige's role in Disney's grand scheme of things. If Iger were Hela (Cate Blanchett), the Goddess of War, then Feige would be the Executioner, the man who does her bidding.

Marvel fans, however, could care less about what Feige and Iger might seem like. As long as they get the X-Men and the Fantastic Four in the MCU.
Unfortunately, it might take a while to integrate the mutants into Marvel's current timeline. Marvel has just admitted that it has no plans of continuing the X-Men franchise that Fox already has in place. The only franchise that Disney's leaving alone is Deadpool, and that's because of its critical and commercial success.
Guess we'll just have to wait.
Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
