The production of Loki might have been shut down to avoid the spread for COVID-19, but that doesn't mean that fans can't learn more about the highly anticipated Marvel series.
Speaking in an interview with the hosts of Forever Dogs Podcast, (via CBR) Loki showrunner Michael Waldron decided to open up about the Marvel series and what fans might be able to expect from the show. According to Waldron, fans are going to get to see the Asgardian God of Mischief confronting existential questions about his identity in the new series. It's a personal crisis that we've seen Loki (Tom Hiddleston) struggle with over the years.
"I'm really drawn to characters who are fighting for control," Waldron explains.
This struggle with the darker and lighter side of Loki has been something that fans have witnessed over the years.
"He's out of control at pivotal parts of his life, he was adopted and everything and that manifests itself through anger and spite towards his family," the showrunner goes on.
Based on what Waldron says, it seems like the internal conflict is going to come to a head in Loki.
We're very much looking forward to the series. Unfortunately, the production of Loki had to be shut down due to the spread of the novel coronavirus. Marvel's upcoming live-action series WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been shut down as well.
We'll have to wait until the crisis is fixed before we get any more production updates on Loki.
