Marvel Fans are Going Crazy Over The New Mutants Trailer

It's been a while since we've last heard about the X-Men franchise's New Mutants movie ever since Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, however, now that the studio's finally completed the merger, it looks like the film is finally on its way.

The 20th Century Fox just released a brand new trailer for The New Mutants, the second official video for the movie to come out since the first video came out on October 13, 2017. Running for about two minutes and a half on YouTube, the new trailer's strong horror vibe has been getting fans all riled up over the movie. Sure, fans might be surprised to see the film released after all of its rumors of extensive reshoots and the lengthy bout of silence over the film's official release date, but everyone also seems to be eager to see The New Mutants.

Fans are loving Anya-Taylor Joy's take on Magik, the arrival of Demon Bear, and the fact that the movie seems like it's actually going to work out all right.

Check out some of the Tweets fans have been posting online:

The New Mutants puts a horror spin on the X-Men franchise's whole "school for mutants" plot with a facility that tries to "fix" the mutants and their powers. Instead of getting Charles Xavier's school that supports and caters to mutants abilities, fans now get a horror movie instead.

The film is definitely going to be one of Fox's most highly-anticipated releases since its acquisition by Disney.

The New Mutants is set to premiere on April 3, 2020.
