Avengers 4 might still be six months or so away from its release date but Marvel fans have begun itching for new details about the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, namely the film's trailer and its title. Over the past few months, there have been many theories and rumors suggesting all sorts of names for Avengers 4 and the includes Annihilation, End Game, Infinity Gauntlet, Eternity and Forever.
Now, it looks like Marel fans on Reddit are busy arguing which title would really suit Avengers 4 and it seems like one post wondering "does anyone else really hope that the title of Avengers 4 isn't Avengers: Annihilation," has received nearly 400 upvotes from the community.
While Annihilation also seems like a possibility for the second installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie, many fans on Reddit seem to be against the name.
"Like we've come to a point that now the title will be released to us in a month or so and I just hope that it's something else," on Marvel fan ranted on the site. "Russo's confirmed that the title has [not] been spoken in previous Marvel movie so now there's more reason to believe that it's Annihilation. But I seriously hope that it's not. What about you people?"
It seems like many believe that Annihilation might be one of Marvel's many ruses to keep fans from spoiling themselves. According to the thread, the name Annihilation seems to be connected to the joke Hulk star Mark Ruffalo made about dropping the title on the late night show with Jimmy Fallon.
