In case you missed it, Marvel could be adding A-lister Angelina Jolie in The Eternals. Although it's still unclear who the Academy Award winner will be playing in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick, there have been speculations that she is taking on the role of the powerful Sersi. So it's no surprise that awesome fan art of Jolie as the Eternal has popped up on the internet.
It was previously reported that Jolie is in talks to join the Chloe Zhao project, which is expected to be the next MCU film by next year. Interestingly, it didn't take long before noted internet artist BossLogic decided to create gorgeous concept art depicting the Maleficent star as Sersi. Take a look at the image below.
That's certainly breathtaking. Jolie certainly appears to be a perfect fit for Sersi and we're hoping that that's exactly what she will look like in The Eternals.
In the comic books, Sersi is said to be the inspiration behind the character Circe who appears as a sorceress in Homer's The Odyssey. She is known to have the powers of the Eternals and is also adept at molecular and atomic manipulation. Sersi has done so much in her time, taking on several talents and Jolie certainly seems to be an excellent choice for the character.
Jolie's casting has yet to be confirmed. However, if a deal is made, The Eternals will be her first Marvel Studios film. Needless to say, we can only expect great things in the movie if big stars like Jolie are part of the project.
