Marvel Comics EIC CB Cebulski Calls Aquaman A 'Fun Spectacle'

DC fans aren't the only ones loving Aquaman. Marvel Comics editor-in-chief CB Cebulski has nothing but good words for the DC Extended Universe installment, showering James Wan's Aquaman with praise.

Taking to Twitter, Cebulski decided to share his thoughts on Aquaman after seeing the film in cinemas. The Marvel Comics EIC not only called the film fun; he also described it as a spectacle that made him feel like he was a child in the theater.

"Just back from Aquaman," Cebulski wrote in his post, "Really enjoyed it! Such a fun flick, the spectacle of it all made me feel like a kid in the theater. Can't wait to take my nephew & niece. Big congrats to Geoff Johns, Jim Lee, James Wan on this superhero splash!"

Cebulski is one of the latest to enjoy the cinematic spectacle of Aquaman. Critics and fans have been saying the same, enjoying the film for its cinematic marvel. While there have been complaints about the film's overly straight-forward story and its weak lines, no one can deny the spectacle Aquaman brings to cinemas. This achievement has translated to box office success with the film keeping its place on top of the box office for the past two weeks. Raking in $189 million at the domestic box office, Aquaman has managed to rake in a total of $751.7 million worldwide.

Give the film another two or so weeks, and Aquaman could very well reach the $1 billion mark, making it one of the biggest DC Comics movie to hit the big screen.

Aquaman is currently screening in cinemas.
