The Year of the Rabbit is in as everyone welcomes the Lunar New Year and Marvel is celebrating the holiday with the 60-year anniversary of Wong, a beloved character by many fans especially in the MCU, through a look back on his greatest moments in the comics.

Everybody loves Wong, and MCU Phase Four proved to be a celebration of his existence in the franchise. Wong appeared in various titles such as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

With being one of the most featured characters in the MCU, there's even a running joke that the franchise is now the Wong Cinematic Universe.

This Lunar New Year is the Year of the Rabbit and Marvel Comics is also celebrating the holiday with Wong's 60 years in the lore wherein the beloved sorcerer also made his debut during the Year of the Rabbit in 1963. Marvel shares the historic moments of Wong through the years with a holiday special.

The Marvel special is Mighty Marvel Holiday Special - Year of the Wong Infinity Comic #1 where Wong's history is celebrated for his 60th year of being in the comics and he is presented as the epitome of the key traits and characteristics of the rabbit, this year's zodiac animal.

Wong made his debut in the Marvel Comics in 1963 on Strange Tales #110 where everyone is introduced to one of the most powerful sorcerers in the lore. Wong has the skills, intelligence, courage, trustworthiness, compassion, and loyalty, similar to that of the rabbit in the lunar calendar.

While there is still no confirmation when Wong will return to the MCU, fans are already calling for his own series, probably in the spinoff Strange Academy, and he will reportedly appear in Agatha: Coven of Chaos as per @MCUSource, but knowing Wong, he shows up anytime he likes. Anyway, he's always one portal away from everyone.

The Mighty Marvel Holiday Special - Year of the Wong Infinity Comic #1 is now available as an app-exclusive in Marvel Unlimited.
