Fans sure are a nit-picky bunch, aren't they? When Entertainment Weekly revealed their spin on the "form your own Avengers team with this budget" meme, a lot of fans were furious to see that Scarlet Witch only cost $2. While not as popular as Spider-Man or The Wasp in some circles, many were angry over her being so cheap since the character was able to hold back Thanos (who had five of the six Infinity Stones) so she's easily the film's best girl and strongest ever Avenger.
Mark Ruffalo, who plays Hulk, Bruce Banner, and their weird combined form Smart Hulk, has revealed his choices for the controversial meme and it will make fans go aww. The meme only gives fans $15 to work with but the actor wants an additional $14 so he can make the classic team from 2012's awesome Avengers movie.
The big three - Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor - are $5 alongside Hulk and Black Widow. Hawkeye is $4 so the math is easy when it comes to what Ruffalo wants. On the other hand, the fact that Scarlet Witch is cheaper than Hawkeye, who is literally just a dude who shoots arrows, you can see why so many fans are offended. Then again, it's just a meme so people need to calm down.
Fans can watch Avengers, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame on Disney+ now. These movies are also available on digital platforms.
