Mark Ruffalo Delighted He Wasn't Fired After Seeing Avengers: Endgame Poster

The latest Avengers: Endgame trailer and poster are finally here and no one is more thrilled than Mark Ruffalo. After all, the poster may have confirmed that the Russo brothers didn't actually fire him from the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.

Back in October, Ruffalo tweeted about dropping some spoilers in an episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. As soon as the episode aired, Joe and Anthony Russo responded to the tweet with a simple "Mark, you're fired."

It's an in-joke that we can all laugh about. Nevertheless, Ruffalo seemed relieved when the new poster for Endgame was unveiled. Take a look at his tweet below.

"So I wasn't fired???" Ruffalo wrote before adding the hashtag #AvengersEndgame.

Interestingly, this is the first time that Bruce Banner is actually featured in an Avengers poster. The previous films, 2012's Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron showed the Hulk. Even the poster for Thor: Ragnarok shows the Hulk as a menacing gladiator.

So could this mean that Banner will not be bringing out the Hulk in Endgame? The Big Green Guy only had a small appearance in Avengers: Infinity War and left Banner to take on the bad guys himself. On the other hand, there have been speculations that Professor Hulk or World Breaker Hulk will debut in Endgame. Either way, we'll find out for sure this April.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, with half of the universe killed in an event dubbed 'The Decimation', the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe."

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
