Mark Ruffalo Confirms Hulk's Return in Upcoming MCU Project

Have you been hoping that the Hulk will return to the MCU? It looks like your prayers have been answered. Mark Ruffalo has just revealed that he is currently in talks to reprise his role as the Marvel hero in She-Hulk.

Ruffalo is currently in Chicago to attend C2E2 2020 where he had some great news for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. The Avengers: Endgame actor admitted that he is currently talking to the studios to join the cast of She-Hulk (via Heroic Hollywood). If a deal is made, Ruffalo will be the first cast member to be confirmed for the highly anticipated MCU series.

We're not exactly surprised that Ruffalo is being courted to return to the MCU in She-Hulk. After all, the show is about a young lawyer named Jennifer Walters who becomes infected by gamma-ray radiation. The character also happens to be the cousin of Bruce Banner so it makes perfect sense for Ruffalo to show up in the Disney+ series. Let's hope that Marvel Studios will make an official announcement about Banner's return in She-Hulk in the next few days.

But who will play the lead in She-Hulk? So far, the role has not yet been cast. However, fans have been hoping that Alison Brie would eventually be tapped to play Jennifer in the Marvel show. The Glow actress has been an early fan favorite to take on the role and there has even been an awesome fan art imagining Brie as Jennifer that is currently making its rounds on the internet.
