Mark Hamill’s Response To Tommy Wiseau Asking For Oscars Tickets Will Melt Hearts

It looks like The Room director, writer, and star Tommy Wiseau was hoping to nab a ticket to the Oscars from Star Wars' Mark Hamill.

Wiseau recently took to Twitter for a quick "Oh hi, Mark," moment asking Hamill if he had a few extra tickets to this year's Academy Awards. Wiseau might have been the subject of the Oscar-nominated film The Disaster Artist, but it seems like The Room's creator wasn't given any tickets to the awarding ceremony of the event.

Hamill's response was pretty endearing – though the Star Wars legend has yet to meet Wiseau, the actor says that he would have helped Wiseau if he had a few extra tickets for himself.

"Oh hi, Tommy! Wish I could help you but I can't even get extra #Oscars tickets for my kids. I really owe you since now whenever people greet me I get to hear the quote from The Room. Plus-if you saw #LastJedi you'd know (SPOILER ALERT) I turned off The Force," Hamill replied.

There's been a lot of "Oh hi, Mark" memes tying together Hamill and Wiseau's The Room ever since New Line Cinema began production on The Disaster artist and fans are pretty happy to see the Star Wars legend acknowledging the meme.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is getting its Digital HD release on March 13 and its Blu-Ray and DVD release on March 27.
