Mark Hamill’s Chucky Does the Joker Laugh in New Child's Play Clip

June is here, which means in a few weeks, you could either check out Toy Story 4 or Orion's reboot of Child's Play. Mark Hamill has been cast as the murder doll Chucky, and we have a new clip to give us a listen to just how creepy the character is.

Check it out:

Instead of the supernatural origin of the doll, the reboot has made Chucky a high-tech toy—basically giving him control of all the technology in the house. What's interesting is, the show has been able to incorporate the POV shots from the classic film.

Going back to Hamill's performance though, you can tell that he really knows how to make his voice creepy. You can even hear Chucky do Hamill's signature Joker laugh. With original Chucky Brad Dourif having an onscreen role in the original film, I would love it if they also put Hamill in the film as someone. Maybe he can be the one who develops the AI that goes into Chucky? Hopefully, the movie can come up with something creative. It's Mark Hamill, after all.

After moving to a new city, young Andy Barclay receives a special present from his mother -- a seemingly innocent Buddi doll that becomes his best friend. When the doll suddenly takes on a life of its own, Andy unites with other neighborhood children to stop the sinister toy from wreaking bloody havoc.

Child's Play hits theaters June 21.
