Mark Hamill Trolls Fans By Teasing That Rey Becomes Evil In Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars Legend Mark Hamill has never been one to walk away from an opportunity to troll fans, and ever since the Star Wars fanbase came up with the idea that Luke Skywalker might turn to the Dark Side in Star Wars: The Last Jedi because of the character's placement in recently released posters for the film, Hamill has been a busy troll.

Now, with the recently released international trailer for The Force Awakens sequel, Hamill's been busy trolling fans with the possibility that Rey (Daisy Riddley) might actually be villain in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, pointing out that the Force-sensitive Jakku Orphan is now one of the characters looming in the background of the new poster.

Check it out down here:

Traditionally, Star Wars posters for the original and sequel trilogy always had its villains looming in the background, and rumors that Luke would turn to the Dark Side started ever since Lucasfilm rolled out promotional material with the Jedi posing behind everyone in The Last Jedi's posters. Now it seems like Luke and Rey have switched places, and Hamill has started teasing fans over it.

However, while Hamill is obviously trolling the fanbase, this new international poster just fuels rumors that Rey might really turn to the Dark Side after a wavering heart was hinted in The Last Jedi's first full trailer.

It also doesn't help that the Japanese synopsis for the film hints at the same turn of events. Could Rey really toy with the Dark Side in The Last Jedi?

Let's wait and see.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15, 2017.
