Mark Hamill Teases Fans with Star Wars: Episode VIII “Trailer” in Latest Tweet

If there's any Star Wars cast who loves teasing fans too much, it's Mark Hamill. The 64-year-old actor has done it again. He recently used his official Twitter account, which currently has 1.7M followers, to have a bit of fun with the Star Wars teasers.

In his latest tweets, the actor said he was given approval by Episode VIII director Rian Johnson to reveal a quick glimpse of the movie's "trailer." Apparently though, he had a different trailer in mind.

Take a look:

With Episode VIII being one of the most highly anticipated films in the Star Wars saga, of course most fans didn't think that the actor meant the trailer in his tweet to be his actual on-set trailer. Then again, you can't really hate the actor for making his jokes on fans. It's pretty hard not to love him. I actually find his social media posts adorable.

A week ago, he shared this photo of him and Daisy Ridley on Instagram to greet the Brit actress a happy birthday:

Last month, he also greeted John Boyega a happy birthday with a troll tweet.

It seems that Mr. Hamill has been getting a little too much into character with his voice role as The Joker in DC's The Killing Joke animated film.

Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
