The 94th Academy Awards will forever be remembered for one moment and one moment alone. And obviously, it's not the actors or films that bagged their respective awards, but the heated altercation between Chris Rock and Will Smith that will go down in history as one of the most shocking television moments ever. In case you haven't heard yet, which is impossible considering the media is all over it, Smith slapped Rock after cracking a joke at Jada Pinkett Smith who is currently dealing with alopecia.
The incident, labeled by many fans as "the slap that was heard around the world" took social media by storm, and to say that it broke the internet is a huge understatement. Naturally, it also got the attention of several A-list celebrities who had a lot of things to say about the controversy. One of which is Star Wars legend Mark Hamill who offered a cheeky response to the infamous Oscars moment.
Taking to Twitter, the Luke Skywalker actor seemingly sided with the comedian and described the Suicide Squad star's actions as a "violent physical assault". Hamill also gave it the hashtag "ugliest oscar moment ever" which definitely says something. Check out his response here:

Well, Hamill is not wrong with his assessment as Smith did act violently at the event. While he did apologize for his behavior during his acceptance speech, rumor has it that the Academy could take action and end up stripping him of his Best Actor trophy for the trouble he caused which honestly, could've gone a lot worse.
