Mark Hamill Posts Inspiring Message For Boy Who Got A Star Wars-Inspired Bionic Arm

Mark Hamill might spend most of his time trolling his followers on Twitter. However, the Star Wars: Episode IX actor also shares some truly heartwarming content. Hamill has just posted a sweet message for an 11-year-old boy who recently received an awesome Star Wars-inspired bionic arm.

Hamill was recently tagged by the Open Bionics Twitter account in a post about Cameron, the 11-year-old who happens to be "the biggest Star Wars fan in the galaxy." The company had given Cameron a set of BB-8 covers for his bionic Hero Arm and the boy is clearly thrilled with the amazing present.

This is already way too cool. However, it gets even better when Hamill responded to the tweet with a heartwarming message for Cameron. Take a look at his post below.

"Congratulations to you for @openbionics getting you that really, really cool bionic Hero Arm, Cameron. They say you are a big #StarWars fan and I just wanted you to know that I am a BIG fan of yours & watching this video made me super, super happy! ?? Your pal, Mar?," the actor wrote.

Yes, he just referred to himself as "Mar Camel." Nevertheless, the message really would have made Cameron's day.

The message from Hamill is certainly a fitting one. After all, Luke Skywalker also has his own bionic appendage after his own arm was cut off in The Empire Strikes Back. Some fans have even pointed out that Luke's bionic arm didn't actually fall off when he disappeared in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It would be interesting to see if Luke's Force Ghost will retain the bionic arm in Star Wars: Episode IX.

Hamill will return as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode IX, which is scheduled for release on December 20.
