Mark Hamill Fires Shots At Fans Against Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi might have experienced commercial and critical success however the film has also become one of the most divisive entries in the Star Wars franchise with a vocal group of fans expressing outrage over the risks taken by The Force Awakens sequel.

While Mark Hamill initially admitted that he had issues with the way Luke was written in the film, the Star Wars legend has since changed his mind about the film, calling it one of the most complex Star Wars installment's since The Empire Strikes Back.

Now, taking to Twitter, Hamill's been busy making jabs at entitled Star Wars fans who have nothing better to do than to dictate what should have been in The Last Jedi.

"Even as the cast felt overjoyed after the triumphant premiere of [Star Wars: The Last Jedi], the guy in the upper-left corner was already silently composing a mean-tweet about how he thought the movie SHOULD have been," wrote Hamill.

Though there were many who enjoyed the risks the film took to create a complex entry with a lot of emotional depth, there were those who hated the way the film subverted fan expectations and played with Star Wars lore. Some of the most entitled fans in the community have even gone as far as to petition for the film to be taken out of Star Wars canon. Guess there's no pleasing the fanbase.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now available on Digital HD and will be made available on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 27.
