Mark Hamill Addresses Star Wars Easter Eggs In The Dark Crystal And Child's Play

Sometimes the most unexpected things turn up in the most unlikely places. It has just been revealed that The Dark Crystal had a tiny Star Wars Easter egg so Mark Hamill decided to address the discovery. In addition to that, the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor dished on a more recent reference in his new film Child's Play.

Hamill has just been confirmed to provide the voice of SkekTek, the Skeksis known as The Scientist in Netflix's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Naturally, a fan reached out to the Knightfall star if he knew the original SkekTek in the 1982 Jim Henson classic had an eye made out of a die-cast Tie Fighter. Take a look at his response below.

"A #StarWars toy embedded in my @darkcrystal character 'The Scientist'?! This is news to me," Hamill wrote before sharing some details about a Star Wars reference in his other project.

"In other related news, the Han Solo reference in @ChildsPlayMovie was already in the script & filmed before they hired me, in case you were wondering," he wrote. Hamill also added the hashtags #seeingSWeverywhere and #TieFighterEye.

These are certainly some cool details about Hamill's projects that somehow confirm you simply cannot avoid Star Wars.

Child's Play is currently screening in theaters worldwide while The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance will air on Netflix on August 30. Hamill will then return as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on December 30.
