There is little doubt that people are hoping to see Mando take on Moff Gideon once again in The Mandalorian Season 2. So it is possible that the fight will ultimately lead to Mando taking the Darksaber from Gideon? A new Star Wars fan art imagines Din Djarin wielding the Mandalorian weapon.
The fan art was created by digital artist Mizuri and has been shared on Twitter. Interestingly, the image actually shows Mando with two Darksabers. Check it out below.

It's no secret that the Darksaber will be a major fixture in The Mandalorian Season 2. After all, Giancarlo Esposito has already confirmed he filmed action sequences involving the weapon. Additionally, the Breaking Bad actor even stated that his character will be going up against Mando again in the second season.
We're loving the idea of Mando eventually taking the Darksaber but there is another character who will appear in The Mandalorian Season 2 who would be more fitting to take the weapon. We already know that Katee Sackhoff will finally play the live-action version of Bo-Katan Kryze, the character she had previously voiced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Either way, we can't wait to see more of the Darksaber in the second season.
The second episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on November 6.
