Rumor has it that Rocket Raccoon is THAT character while other theories suggest that Dave Bautista's Drax the Destroyer is on his way out. Now, a new report sheds light on the ongoing discourse.

According to a scoop from Twitter tipster MyTimeToShineHello, Rocket Raccoon lives after Guardians 3. It's worth noting that the source has constantly stated in the past that Bradley Cooper's character dies in the film but now admits that the information she previously released was wrong. However, she didn't reveal which character actually dies in the finale.

Considering Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will mark the end of the superhero team, it'll be interesting to see where characters like Star-Lord, Gamora, Mantis, and Nebula go as we head towards the culmination of the Multiverse Saga. Will they continue playing vital roles in the MCU? Or will Marvel Studios honor James Gunn's desire to end everything after the third film?

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.
