Maisie Williams Would "Absolutely Love" To Be A Part of New Mutants

Earlier this month, we heard about the casting rumor that Maisie Williams will be a part of the Joshua Boone-directed New Mutants, 20th Century Fox's new X-Men film that's been in a development for a while. It stated that she would be playing the youngest member of the New Mutants, Rahne Sinclair, a.k.a. Wolfsbane. Sadly, that rumor was debunked.

But that doesn't mean Williams doesn't have a chance. It sounds like Fox may have had conversations with her about it.

"I can't say much about it at all, but I would absolutely love to be a part of it, to be a part of the Marvel family," Williams told Entertainment Weekly. "New Mutants looks absolutely incredible and I've always loved the idea of spin-offs and [director] Joshua Boone is incredibly talented. So, yeah, sign me up."

Williams will return as Arya Stark in Game of Thrones Season 6, which premieres this Sunday on HBO.
