Magic: The Gathering Throne of Eldraine Special Viewing Event is Happening Soon

There's a special viewing event for the forthcoming Magic: The Gathering expansion Throne of Eldraine, and it will take place one month before the set's official release date. Magic Arena streamer CalebMTG shared the news in a video clip shared on his Twitter account.

In the video, Caleb shows off a purple fairy-themed invitation card similar to the one we've seen at this year's Comic-Con, and the card reveals that the Throne of Eldraine special viewing event will take place on September 4 on Magic's official Twitch channel - Twitch.tv/magic.

Wizards of the Coast also sent Caleb a "gingerbread dude" that apparently, he can't save.

Sadly, there's no timeslot included and there are no additional details provided for the special viewing event but expect the first official previews of Throne of Eldraine cards in that event. Earlier this month, the first Throne of Eldraine Planeswalker card was leaked but with only nearly one month before its official release, Wizards of the Coast will probably start the official previews by early September.

It's good to know that Wizards of the Coast is planning to have this special event for Throne of Eldraine following the news that they will not have any Magic panels at PAX West this weekend.

Throne of Eldraine, the 82nd Magic expansion, is set to release on October 4. Prerelease events will take place on September 27 to 29. Throne of Eldraine is said to be inspired by the romantic Arthurian legend of Camelot and Grimms' Fairy Tales.
