Historic, the digital-only eternal Constructed format in Magic: The Gathering Arena, is expanding thanks to the recent release of Jumpstart and Amonkhet Remastered, but Wizards of the Coast is planning to update the ban & restricted list again to improve the format.
The official Magic Twitter account has announced that there will be a Banned & Restricted list update for Historic format on Monday, August 24, and noted that no other formats will be impacted.
Many are speculating that Field of the Dead will get the ban hammer since Historic decks that run it have been dominant in the format lately.
Another card that could potentially get banned is Skirk Prospector, a staple in Goblin decks that consistently lets you cast Muxus by turn 3.
