BOOM Studios! has revealed a preview for Magic #3, the third issue of the brand new Magic: The Gathering comic book series that follows the story of three planeswalkers Ral Zarek, Kaya, and Vraska as they are forced to confront dangerous assassins in Ravnica.
Magic #3 was written by Jed MacKay, best known for his work on Marvel Entertainment's Black Cat, Taskmaster and Avengers: Mech Strike, with Ig Guara as the lead artist, and other artists including Arianna Consonni, Ed Dukeshire, Jakub Rebelka, Qistina Khalida, Ariela Kristantina, Derrick Chew, and Mike Del Mundo.
Official synopsis of Magic #3:
When their investigation into the role of one of Ravnica's biggest Guilds in the assassination attempts on their lives lead Planeswalkers Kaya, Ral, and Vraska deep into the Undercity, they will need to succeed in the impossible. Will they uncover the location of Duskmantle, the Dimir guildhall, and survive to tell the tale? Meanwhile, the assassin is amassing guild members to betray their own Guilds, even as their true motivations remain a mystery…

Last January, BOOM! Studios acquired the rights to Magic: The Gathering, taking over the comic book license for Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast's popular franchise from IDW Publishing.
