Mad Max: Fury Road Star Rosie Huntington-Whitely Throws Shade at Michael Bay with George Miller Comparison

Working on an action film can be tough but sometimes the right director can make things a lot easier for his cast. That's exactly what George Miller did for the Five Wives in Mad Max: Fury Road and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley couldn't stop gushing about the filmmaker to the point that she somehow threw shade at Michael Bay.

The revelation comes from New York Times reporter Kyle Buchanan, who shared interesting new details from Fury Road on Twitter. One of the tweets included Huntington-Whiteley's comments comparing her experience on the Mad Max sequel and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

"It's so funny, because I'd just come off this movie with Michael Bay, and I met George and I just remember feeling so relieved and protected," Huntington-Whiteley said. "He was this cuddly, warm teddy-bear character who was so easy to talk to. I felt really safe with him, and that was the exact experience I was really looking forward to from a director."

Huntington-Whiteley clearly enjoyed working on Fury Road so much that she had a hard time returning to her regular life once filming was over.

"It took me a long while to shake the experience and get back to feeling like myself. To even put on my own clothes and jewelry again felt bizarre," she said.

Although we're not sure what happened on the set of Dark Side of the Moon, it's safe to say that Huntington-Whiteley had an experience she will never forget when she worked on Fury Road. For now, the former model has only worked on two films but she may soon return to the movies.
