Luke Skywalker Reportedly To Undergo Crisis of Faith In Star Wars: The Last Jedi

This year's Star Wars Celebration is just a few weeks away, and fans are holding in their breathe in anticipation over the possibility of Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer premiere during the event.

However, as fans continue to count the days to the trailer's release, rumors about the highly anticipated Star Wars sequel trilogy installment continues to trickle with new reports revealing that Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) may feel appear disillusioned about the Force and the Jedi path in The Last Jedi.

A source has opened up to Star Wars News Net (via Express) about the Luke's status with the Force, saying that Luke may have seen another crisis of faith after Ben Solo (Adam Driver) fell to the Dark Side. The source claims that in The Last Jedi, Luke will begin to doubt the teachings of the Jedi not just because of his student's betrayal but because the Jedi artifacts that Luke had stumbled on over the years have begun to stray away from their original purpose in the Force.

While the rumor remains a rumor till confirmed, it is likely that Luke won't be as eager as we expect him to be in The Last Jedi and might even continue to doubt the teachings of the Jedi in the film. However, fans ought to take these reports with a grain of salt till there's actual confirmation from Lucasfilm or Disney.

Star Wars The Last Jedi hits cinemas on December 15, 2017.
