Lucasfilm Confirms Which Animated Characters Appeared in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

It looks like a few Star Wars Resistance characters really did make it in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Fans just didn't manage to spot them.

In the final sequence in the third and final entry of Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy, fans get to see a humongous fleet of Resistance ships assembling together on Exegol to battle with Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) and his own fleet of Final Order ships. While the film didn't really zoom in on all of the different members of the Resistance that participated in the space battle, there were reports saying that some of the ships from Star Wars various animated series made an appearance in the scene.

Now, fans finally get to see some confirmation on the official Star Wars website. Lucasfilm put up a new blog post about Star Wars Resistance's final episode where fans get to learn new details about "The Escape –Part 2."

In the post, Lucasfilm Story Group member Pablo Hidalgo tackles questions about what happens next after the episode. Apparently, some of the members of Resistance make an appearance in The Rise of Skywalker.

This includes Jarek Yeager and Torra Doza. To fans who haven't really been following the series, Yeager was a former Rebel who eventually became a mechanic during the time of the New Republic. It's no surprise that Yeager would answer the call when Lando Calrissian rallied for help for the Resistance. Torra Doza, on the other hand, was one of the Ace Squadron's youngest members. It comes as no surprise that her ship would be in the final battle as well.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is screening in cinemas.
