Lucasfilm Reveals New Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Trailer

Now that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is coming to Disney+ on Star Wars day, fans are finally going to be able to access the entire Skywalker Saga on one streaming platform.

Celebrating the completion of the Skywalker saga on Disney+, Lucasfilm has decided to release a brand new trailer featuring clips from all of the nine Star Wars films focused on the Skywalker family. The trailer might not manage to feature all of the important details of the saga, but it gives fans their very first look at the Skywalker story cut together in one from the beginning of Anakin Skywalker's (Hayden Christensen) journey in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace to Rey's (Daisy Ridley) decision to turn her back on her Palpatine heritage as she takes on the Skywalker name in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

It's been decades since the first Star Wars movie and it's overwhelmingly wistful to see how far we've come from A New Hope. Fans must be excited to see the entire Skywalker saga come to shape in Disney+. It's definitely going to be easier to binge-watch the entire Skywalker story now that all nine of the main Star Wars movies are on Disney+.

We wonder what kind of debates might come out now that Star Wars fans can review the Skywalker saga on Disney's streaming site. There's a lot of time to pour over the details of the Star Wars franchise now that everyone's forced to stay at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is making its way to Disney+ on May 4, 2020.
