Lucasfilm Reportedly Considering Star Wars Series For Young Princess Leia, Rose Tico, Darth Bane And More

Yesterday word came out that Lucasfilm was making multiple Star Wars series outside of Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian and the upcoming Rogue One spinoff series starring Diego Luna's Captain Cassian Andor. These shows would supposedly focus on different Star Wars characters including the Star Wars sequel trilogy's Finn (John Boyega) and Poe (Oscar Isaac). Now, word has it that the studio would be developing even more shows for Disney's streaming site, Disney+.

In a surprising turn of events, HN Entertainment claims that a source has provided the site with a list of even more streaming series that Lucasfilm is planning to put into development. This includes shows for popular Star Wars characters like a young Princess Leia, Rose Tico, Captain Phasma, the Knights of Ren, and standout character Sith Lord Bane.

While these rumors ought to be taken with a grain of salt, there's nothing wrong with imagining a slew of shows featuring fan-favorite characters like Princess Leia. Who wouldn't want to see a young Princess Leia work her way around the political hoo-has of the galaxy?

There've also been calls to see Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown as a young Princess Leia. The Godzilla star would be a good candidate for the role.

The Knights of Ren have also been a popular bunch, despite the fact that they were only featured for an instance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Meanwhile, Darth Bane would definitely be an interesting character to feature – the ancient Sith Lord would definitely expand the Star Wars franchise beyond the Skywalker saga.

What do you think of these potential series? Who would you like to see on Disney+? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
