It looks like everyone's galaxy far, far away is getting a brand new Star Wars news show.
Lucasfilm just announced the arrival of a brand new The Star Wars show spinoff today, taking to Star Wars' official website to break out the news. Star Wars is getting a weekly series called This Week! In Star Wars, a brand-new all-news show focused on news from the galaxy far, far away. Each week, the associate editor of StarWars.com, Kristin Baver, is going to give fans a quick and snappy rundown of all of the Star Wars news and tidbits that have been running around the news cycle during the week. Not only that, but Baver is also going to give fans a few fun factoids about the Star Wars franchise.
This Week! In Star Wars sounds a whole lot like The Star Wars Show – the only difference is that the new series is supposed to serve as a weekly run down of the news.
In other Star Wars news, The Star Wars Show is also moving to a longer format. According to StarWars.com, the series is adding in more segments to its program, giving fans behind-the-scenes access to Star Wars movies and shows, interviews with celebrities, detailed roundtable discussions, as well as animals renacting key Star Wars scenes.
Lucasfilm really wants to add new content to the Emmy Award-winning series. This means that fans are going to get a whole lot more news when they tune in to The Star Wars Show for their Star Wars updates.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is currently screening in cinemas.
