Lucasfilm and Disney+ Release Star Wars: The Mandalorian TV Spot

We're only a few months away from Star Wars taking over the entertainment medium, from The Mandalorian, which will debut on Disney+ when the service launches, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It seems like Disney and Lucasfilm are going all in for the marketing since they just released a new The Mandalorian TV spot, though fans will be disappointed to know that there isn't much new footage, if at all.

Admittedly, that doesn't mean this is a bad TV spot. The editing is pretty good, as are the music and scenes that were chosen for this short video but it's not groundbreaking, especially when compared to the actual full-length trailer. Still, it's a decent enough watch and is only a minute long so this isn't the worst thing you can do.

There's a lot to be excited about when it comes to The Mandalorian since this side of the Star Wars canon is only ever explored in books and comics. Considering the amount of directing and acting talent involved in this series, this could be the Star Wars series fans have been dreaming about. While it's clear that we're never going to get that Bubba Fett series (or movie), this is close enough.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian comes out on November 12.
