Lookism follows a high school student, Park Hyung Seok, who dreads his appearance because he is bullied for being overweight. One fateful day, Park Hyung Seok discovered that he has the ability to "soul hop" into an attractive young man who is slimmer and taller, however, his ability has its limits.

Park Hyung Seok can only turn into being the attractive young, slim, and tall man during the day where he is model for a clothing line, an entertainment company trainee, and a social media influencer. However, he has to come back to his original body at night.

As the darkness of the night bites, Park Hyung Seok comes back to the harsh reality of who he really is, and this gives him a broader perspective on how people discriminate others just because of their physical appearance.
