Loki's Disney+ Release Schedule Goes on a Different Route Than The First Two Marvel Series

Loki is not just going to make changes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but also on how the Disney+ platform is releasing episodes of the original shows on another day. WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier released their new episodes every Friday but Loki will be going on another route.

Loki will be airing on Wednesday instead of the usual Friday release split. Disney+ has various original content not just from Marvel. When Loki gets released, Star Wars: The Bad Batch is already airing and other original shows are getting released on Fridays. To avoid clashing with those projects, Loki is given the spotlight by giving it a Wednesday. Moreover, Black Widow will be released on July 9 at the same time on the theaters and Disney+. Putting Loki on Fridays may risk the oversaturation of Marvel content.

Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4 has begun after the Infinity Saga has finally come to an end. Fans are excited with the new content that they are not just going to focus on the movies but also TV shows that will be streaming on Disney+. These can have a direct impact on other movies which can further expand the connected universe.

The MCU's Phase 4 was started by WandaVision, followed shortly by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and before fans can see Black Widow, they will be reunited with Loki. Tom Hiddleston is set to reprise his role as the title character. Fans saw Loki die at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War.

The series will follow Loki after stealing the Tesseract in 2012, which was a result of the time heist that happened in the Avengers: Endgame. Fans will see him being brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA) which monitors the timeline.

The organization will send Loki on various missions to fix the timeline so that he can avoid being deleted.
