Loki: Tom Hiddleston Shares New BTS Video

Though Disney+'s Star Wars shows may have been caught in a snag, Marvel Studios seems to be moving faster than expected when it comes to their miniseries. Just in, Tom Hiddleston gives us an update on the upcoming Loki show.

Check it out:

We don't know what the stunt is for, but it certainly looks like Loki leaping at someone. My guess is he's going to stab someone in the shot, but it could be possible that it could be for another, dynamic, superhero moment.

The plot for Loki is still officially under wraps, but rumor has it that the story will focus on the Loki that escapes with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. Though Loki had come to a significant character arc by the end of Thor: Ragnarok, the Loki that is alive is still the one from the first Avengers film—meaning that he's still a full-on villain that was thwarted during his invasion.

It's also unclear, but it's said that Loki will also deal with time travel, and it will have Loki going to different points in history, influencing certain events. I don't know if this is a thing this show's Loki will do, but I can very much see it happen as a flashback; meaning Loki was tampering with Earth for a long time.

Besides Hiddleston, the series has also cast Sophie Di Martino. We don't know her role yet, but it's speculated she could be playing a female version of Loki, just like in the comics.

Loki is set to hit Disney+ in the spring of 2021. The first Marvel miniseries, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier hits the service this coming fall.
