We already know that the Loki series is going to reveal what happened to the God of Mischief after he stole the Tesseract yet again in Avengers: Endgame. But where did Loki go when he disappeared after the Battle of New York? The latest teaser for the Marvel Cinematic Universe show may have revealed where Loki went amidst all the chaos.
In Endgame, the Avengers went back in time to collect the Infinity Stones before Thanos could get them. They attempted to get the Tesseract while Loki is being transferred from Stark Tower but they are disrupted by a rampaging Hulk. In the confusion, the Tesseract is thrown out of its container and lands into Loki's hands. Naturally, the God of Mischief uses it to escape yet again.
So where exactly did Loki go? The new teaser for the Loki series suggests that the God of Mischief used the Space Stone to travel to ... the desert where he is promptly followed by the Time Variance Authority (TVA).
Interestingly, the new promo reveals a bit more about the series. As it turns out. someone is trying to change the flow of the timeline and it's up to Loki and TVA to stop them. Needless to say, we're hoping they can figure things out this month.
Loki will premiere on Disney+ on June 9, 2021.
