Loki Series Teaser Possibly Confirmed Mephisto as New MCU Villain

If you've seen the first teaser for the Loki series, there's a good chance you already have a lot of theories to work with. However, there was one particular scene in the brief trailer that may have confirmed what fans can look forward to in the Marvel Cinematic Universe show. Did the teaser just reveal that Mephisto is going to be the main villain in the Tom Hiddleston series?

In the trailer for Loki, viewers finally got to see Owen Wilson's character Mobius M. Mobius, who works for the TVA (Time Variance Authority). At first, it looks like Mobius is just some guy who knows how to get on Loki's nerves but there's something interesting about a scene where he is shown with a young girl.

In the background, you can see a stained glass window featuring a figure with horns. Some believe that this could be Mephisto, the demon who once turned Johnny Blaze into Ghost Rider.

So what are the chances that this scene is more than just an Easter Egg? There is a huge possibility that Mephisto could be the one pulling the strings in TVA.

Although we're loving the idea that Loki will be going up against someone truly terrifying in the series, it is important to point out that Mephisto is not one of the confirmed characters for the Disney+ show. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt. In the meantime, Loki is expected to air on Disney+ next year.
