Change of plans usually means bigger things are ahead and with Loki moving into the category of drama series instead of being a limited series, the stakes are higher with more shows falling under the same category. Still, with Loki being the most loved Marvel series with the most viewers, it fits the bill to be the studio’s best bet in the Emmys.

Aside from the Emmys considerations for Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Wunmi Mosaku in acting category, Richard E. Grant and Jonathan Majors will also gun for the Supporting actor category. The show will also put their best foot forward with their three best episodes.

Loki Episode 1, Glorious Purpose, will be vying for Best Writing and Best Costume categories, Loki Episode 3, Lamentis, will take a shot for the Best Cinematography category, and Loki Episode 5, Journey Into Mystery, will be running for three categories namely Best Directing, Best Hairstyling, and Best Make-Up.

To date, only WandaVision holds an Emmy Award for the MCU and Loki will try to break the drought with 26 considerations put forward. Should the show win more than one award, it will be the first multi-awarded title under the Emmys for the MCU.

Loki is currently in production for Season 2 and it remains to be the most-watched series of Marvel on Disney Plus. The God of Mischief will continue his journey after escaping with the Tesseract in Endgame and being detected by the Time Variance Authority for existing beyond the Sacred Timeline.

Loki Season 1 is currently streaming on Disney Plus.
