Set for a 2021 release, Marvel fans can't wait to see Tom Hiddleston return as Loki once again in a new Disney+ series. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Loki is now in possession of the Tesseract, and it looks like the show might feature the God of Mischief's attempt to finish what he started in the 2012 Avengers movie.

Hiddleston confirmed that Loki officially started its pre-production last month, which means that the show will begin filming very soon. Most details are kept under wraps, but producer Stephen Broussard made it known that the show will have a "huge time travel component." With that in mind, Marvel fans are speculating that the hero will likely redeem himself and finally finish what he has intended to do in the first Avengers film, based on that statement, as well as Marvel prop master Russell Bobbitt's recent post.

Bobbitt shared a short clip on his Twitter account, showing Loki's scepter from The Avengers. Of course, it is already known that this scepter contains the Mind Stone, which he used to control several SHIELD agents, including Hawkeye. Fans weren't sure if the prop master was teasing that they'll feature more of 2012 Loki in the show, or he's just sharing a throwback video. Regardless, fans are all for it!

Aside from Hiddleston, Sophia DiMartino was also cast for the show, but her role is yet to be revealed. There's a lot of speculations surrounding Loki's storyline, but fans could only wait and see if any of their theories are correct. After all, it's only a matter of time until set photos get released once they start production.

Loki is set for release in the Spring of 2021 on Disney+.
