Among the numerous series slated for release in the following years on Disney+ is a show that centers around the iconic villain Loki. The series is yet to make its debut but Marvel fans are already getting bits of information of what the story could be about. One including the show's producer's revelation regarding an essential part of the storyline.
The Marvel Studios: Expanding the Universe featurette was revealed upon the launch of Disney+. Multiple characters, costumes, and details were shown, including that of the Loki series. Producer Stephen Broussard revealed that there will be a "huge time travel component" within the series.
Aside from that, Broussard also mentioned that there will be a "man on the run quality" to it. In addition, some Marvel fans will be delighted to know that they would get a chance to "explore more human sides of Loki."
Executive producer Kevin Wright added that we're "finally going to see him on his back foot." A story where we would witness Loki "being put in a position where he doesn't have all the answers." The story will follow the villain being thrown a "curveball by life" (via Comic Book).
Aside from that, previous reports also mentioned that the series will be connected to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. And interestingly, prior to its debut, it's already rumored that the show might get another season.
