Little Women hit a glitch ahead of the release of its last two episodes despite the Netflix K-drama's success.
Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hu, and Wi Ha Joon currently lead the now-hit K-drama following its release on the streaming giant. The series, which is based on Louisa May Alcott's novel of the same name, explores the lives of the three sisters who share a close relationship despite growing up in a poor family.
But in this adaptation, their lives are set in modern-day Korea instead of in the 1800s.
For its 10th episode, Little Women garnered 9.7 viewership ratings, its highest number so far. But the success recently came with condemnation.

Vietnamese Government Wants Little Women To Be Removed From Netflix
Days after Little Women episode 10 was released, the Vietnamese government asked the streaming giant to stop airing the original series.
Tuio Tre, a Vietnamese newspaper, shared a report on Tuesday revealing that Le Quang Tu Do, the Director of the Department of Broadcasting, Television and Electronic Information, requested Netflix to remove the K-drama in Vietnam starting on Wednesday, October 5.

The news outlet said the move was made after Little Women allegedly distorted the Vietnam War while violating media and cinema laws. It particularly pointed out that episodes three and eight depictions are both misleading.
Korea JoongAng Daily confirmed that Netflix has since responded to the request, pledging to remove Little Women from the platform within this week.
The K-drama only has two episodes left, with the 12th and last part premiering on October 9.
