Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet garnered global fame after they appeared in the 1997 record-breaking film Titanic. The American epic romance and disaster movie received numerous accolades and remained the highest-grossing film of all time until James Cameron's Avatar.

TitanicStars Leonardo DiCaprio And Kate Winslet Are Reportedly Reuniting In A New Project
Woman's Day Australia, in its upcoming October 11 issue, revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, and director James Cameron are in talks for a new project. According to the entertainment news outlet, the trio has been talking about how they would celebrate the film's quarter-century next year.
An unnamed source told the magazine that Leonardo and Kate would do a documentary together, and they are taking the lead roles. The tipster said:
"There's talk of a documentary, with Kate and Leo taking the starring role, of course. If money is no object, they'd even like to revisit the old set in Mexico and rebuild parts of it. Cameron wants to do a series of specials, including a touring exhibition, but one thing they all agree on is there will be a reunion party for the cast and crew in Los Angeles."
Friends close to Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are said to be excited about taking fans back to the shooting location where Rose survived the tragic sinking, and Jack froze himself to death for choosing to save the love of his life. The same informant shared:
"That scene has become an internet sensation with fans claiming Rose should have shared the door with Jack – and Kate and Leo would love to re-enact if for fun, just to test the theory."
Leonardo DiCaprio And Kate Winslet Have Reportedly Stayed In Touch Even After Titanic
Though Leonardo and Kate did not date in real life, they kept their communication open even after Titanic. As a matter of fact, the two stars have remained close even if Kate is now married to Edward Abel Smith and Leonardo is in a relationship with Camila Morrone. An unidentified insider told Woman's Day Australia:
"They may never have openly dated as it's never been the right time, but there's no doubt there's something incredibly special between Kate and Leo. They have stayed very much in touch since Titanic. Since shooting the movie, they've grown up together – really, it's the longest relationship either of them have ever had. It will be interesting to see how things pan out with them, if this reunion project with James goes ahead. One thing's for sure – you know that their chemistry is going to be electric, even after all these years."
Aside from Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet also starred together in Revolutionary Road in 2008. At the time, per Distractify, the pair played a couple who found themselves miserable in their lives.
Unhappy yet hopeful, the characters of Leonardo and Kate decided to break free from the chains of monotony to rekindle the spark of their romance and their desire to be alive. Should things push through, the yet-to-be-confirmed documentary would be Leonardo and Kate's third project together.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, and director James Cameron have yet to comment on these reports about their alleged reunion project. So, avid followers of the Titanic stars should take these unverified reports lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
