Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have reportedly called it quits after four years of dating. Prior to the reports, the Titanic actor had already sparked split rumors from his model girlfriend after he was spotted vacationing in Europe this summer sans Morrone.
The reason behind Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone’s split has not yet been revealed. This isn’t surprising because, as People confirmed, the exes tried their best to keep their relationship as private as possible.
But just months before they called it quits, Page Six claimed that DiCaprio and Morrone were spotted having an emotional conversation with each other. Two months later, they were also seen hanging out over the Fourth of July weekend. Since then, DiCaprio and Morrone have mostly been kept out of the public’s eye.
Are Leonardo DiCaprio’s Relationships Cursed?
According to The Blast, it seems that DiCaprio succumbed to an alleged relationship curse. The publication noted that DiCaprio’s relationships typically end after his partner’s 25th birthday. The model just turned 25 years old this year.
Last year, a Reddit user came up with a list of all the women that DiCaprio has dated and pointed out that the actor has not dated anyone older than 25. For instance, he dated Gisele Bundchen when the model was just 18 years old.
DiCaprio and Morrone also started dating when the latter was just 21 years old. He also dated Bar Rafael for five years and split when the latter turned 25 years old.

Leonardo DiCaprio And Camila Morrone Were Serious About Their Relationship
But before the alleged curse made headlines, a source close to DiCaprio claimed that he was very serious about Morrone.
“It's definitely not a casual relationship. Camila spends a lot of time at his house. Camila is long known as Leo's girlfriend. And Leo introduced her to both of his parents long ago,” the source said.

In 2019, Morrone also opened up about her and DiCaprio’s age difference and said that it doesn’t have a negative impact on their relationship.
“There are so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date,” she said.
Morrone also said that it’s frustrating to be known as DiCaprio’s girlfriend since she’s so much more than that.
“I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you're dating. I understand the association, but I'm confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation,” she said.
As of writing, it’s unclear if DiCaprio and Morrone will ever share the reason behind their split. But here’s to hoping that the exes are on good terms despite whatever it is that happened between them.
