Kylie Jenner recently headlined the launch of her latest range of Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits collection at Ulta Beauty in Los Angeles. For the outing, the makeup mogul was photographed in an all-white ensemble. She was also joined by her entire family at the event, which was attended by journalists, producers, and other people from the entertainment industry.
Kylie Jenner Did Not Make Eye Contact With The Producer Who Wanted To Take A Photo With Her
Following the launch, Refinery29 producer Alexa May Rhodes uploaded a video of herself meeting Kylie Jenner on TikTok. In her caption, it was evident that Rhodes had a blast during her encounter with the reality TV star.
However, after over 500,000 people watched her video, some of them had similar comments about Jenner. Since the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum did not even smile or look Rhoded in the eyes, some critics became upset with Jenner.
“She didn’t look happy at all,” one person wrote (via Page Six).
“No hug, a smile, or even a word? Naaaaaa,” another person commented.
A third critic sarcastically claimed that Jenner has so much love for her fans, and it shows because of what she did to Rhodes.
“You can tell how much love she has for her fans,” the person wrote.
“No actual engagement. What a shame. I’d be trying to ‘win’ everyone over. These people are literally their support system. What a missed opportunity,” another person said.

Kylie Jenner Went Under Fire After A Cosmetic Developer Accused Her Of Gaslighting Her Followers
As of writing, Jenner has not responded to the backlash that she received. But the mom of two previously released a statement after a cosmetic developer accused her of bypassing proper sanitation protocols.
“I'm a cosmetic developer and work with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) as part of my job. I have very short hair, and I've NEVER been allowed into the lab or onto the manufacturing floor without a hair net, shoe covers, mask... and disposable GLOVES,” Kevin James Bennet wrote (via Fox News).
Kylie Jenner Fired Back At Her Critic
Jenner immediately fired back by saying that the photo of her seemingly mixing cosmetic ingredients at a lab was actually taken elsewhere.
“Kevin - this picture is not taken in a manufacturing facility. I would never bypass sanitary protocols and neither would any other celeb or beauty brand owner. that’s completely unacceptable I agree. This is a small personal space creating my own fun samples and taking pictures for content nowhere near mass manufacturing. no one is putting customers at risk,” Jenner said.
However, this isn’t where their back-and-forth ended. At one point, Kris Jenner’s daughter told Bennett that she should change the name of her dog because they share the same moniker.
