Leonard Nimoy's Death Will Be Acknowledged in Star Trek Beyond

Director Justin Lin says the death of the legendary actor Leonard Nimoy will be acknowledged in Star Trek Beyond. According to 1701News, fans will notice a reference to honor Nimoy in the film.

"It's something you'll see in the film...It obviously affected everybody because he's been a big part of our lives. There's an attempt to acknowledge that in some way."

It's been over a year since Nimoy died, and if the Fast & Furious films can honor Paul Walker, I think it's just right that the upcoming Star Trek film will pay tribute to the actor who played Spock.

Star Trek Beyond will be released in theaters on July 22.
