Star Trek Beyond Will Feature New Aliens

Star Trek Beyond is currently undergoing some reshoots in preparation for this summer's release. To keep fans updated of what's going on behind-the-scenes of the upcoming movie, director Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 6), who's helming the film after J.J. Abrams left the franchise, has taken to his official Twitter account to reveal some new aliens that will be shown in the film.

Lin's caption on the twitter image reads: "Happy #FirstContactDay!" April 5 marks the first day that humans and Vulcans came into contact in 2063 in Bozeman, Montana.

Take a look:

Lin didn't provide any further details on the two mysterious aliens since their casting hasn't been made public yet, but he did tease that they are familiar faces in the industry under all those prosthetics. The director also offered a free Star Trek Beyond t-shirt on his You Offend Me You Offend My Family site to anyone who can correctly guess the identity of the two actors.

With the intense details on the actors' prosthetics, they could be literally anyone in Hollywood.

Whoever they are, they'll be joining Shohreh Aghdashloo in Star Trek Beyond on July 22.
