Lee Joo Bin New Drama: Money Heist Korea Star Joins Park Min Young in Upcoming Rom-Com Series

After the successful release of Money Heist Korea, Lee Joo Bin is starring in a new Kdrama MonWedFriTuesThursSat.

The 32-year-old actress took the role of Yun Mi Seon, who is one of the hostages at the unified mint of Korea.

As obtained by KBizoom, Xports News reported that Lee Joo Bin is selected as one of the cast for tvN’s forthcoming rom-com series.

“It’s one of the works that have been proposed and are being reviewed,” her agency mentioned, adding that her role is yet to be confirmed.

With her confirmation as one of the cast, Lee Joo Bin will join Park Min Young, Go Kyung Pyo, and Kim Jae Young in the cast lineup.

MonWedFriTuesThursSat follows the story of a special service that provides dates or wives to single men who require partners to bring to special gatherings and events.

Park Min Young took the role of Choi Sang Eun, a woman who possesses great qualities to become a partner.

The story unfolds after Choi Sang Eun gets entangled with Jung Ji Ho, played by Go Kyung Pyo. In the drama, he is on his fifth-year contract with Choi Sang Eun for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; however, he has a deeper reason why he chose to continue with the contract.

On the other hand, their connection will get complicated after Kang Hae Jin, played by Kim Jae Young gets in the way.

He is a rich heir as the family’s youngest son and on top of it a Hallyu star. In tvN’s new drama, he will be Choi Sang Eun’s newest client, reserved for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

tvN’s MonWedFriTuesThursSat is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2022 and will be the newest rom-com series that will surely make viewers’ hearts flutter.

Lee Joo Bin Drama: Series Featuring the Money Heist Korea Star

The South Korean beauty made her acting debut in 2018, joining the star-studded cast of Mr. Sunshine led by Park Byung Hun, Kim Tae Ri, and Hospital Playlist star Yoo Yoon Seok.

In the historical series, Lee Joo Bin played Gye Hyang, the concubine of Minister Lee.

From then on, she appeared in various Kdramas, playing supporting characters. Viewers might have seen her in Be Melodramatic, playing the role of actress Lee So Min and in The Tale of Nokdu as Mae Hwa Soo.

Lee Joo Bin headlines the cast of Ga Doo Ri’s Sushi Restaurant and the 2021 series She Would Never Know; however, it was the Netflix series Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area where she gained massive popularity.

As mentioned she played the unified Korea mint assistant manager Yun Mi Seon, who has a secret affair with the director Jo Yeong Min.

In the original series, her character is Monica Gaztambide otherwise known as Stockholm played by Spanish actress and reporter Esther Acebo.

In the Korean version, viewers lauded her chemistry with Denver, played by Kim Ji Hoon, especially the intimate scene in the middle of a heist.

According to Osen, she struggled to get intimate with a co-star given that it was her first time doing a bed scene.

As for her preparation for the role, Lee Joo Bin said that she has intense workouts and “went to Pilates five times a week.”
