Lee Hyun Woo gained the attention of viewers as the actor played the role of Rio in the hit Netflix series Money Heist Korea.
He took the role of a skilled hacker who joined the heist to prove something to his parents.
Rio, also known as Aníbal Cortés in the original series, was initially played by Spanish Miguel Herrán.
Interestingly, despite the fame of the cast in La Casa De Papel, Lee Hyun Woo owns the character, giving Rio a different kind of feel to viewers.

Lee Hyun Woo and his Celebrity Friends
Although Money Heist Korea was considered his breakthrough performance, Lee Hyun Woo has been in the industry since 2005.
Due to this, he has built a friendship with several celebrities including Park Bo Gum, who he met at Bogummy’s university's entrance ceremony.
In addition to Lee Hyun Woo’s list of celebrity friends, he was once spotted out and about with non-other than IU.

In a 2015 article cited by Soompi, the 29-year-old actor once spoke about the dating rumor involving IU.
As noted by the news portal, he clarified that he is not dating the singer-actress.
“The weird thing was that after we went our separate ways after the film when I was on my way home, I kept getting phone calls. My agency told me that articles were being posted online,” he said during his guest appearance on Happy Together.
