Lee Hak Joo confirmed his impending marriage to his non-celebrity wife.
A decade after his debut, Lee Hak Joo finally started getting attention when he starred in The World of the Married and My Name. He notably began his career in 2012 and starred in several hit films like 12th Assistant Deacon, I Know You, and Sweet Sorrow.
After focusing on his career, the actor will take a huge step in his personal life.

Lee Hak Joo Announces Upcoming Marriage
Multiple news outlets, as quoted by Korea JoongAng Daily, confirmed on Tuesday that the actor would tie the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend.
Lee Hak Joo’s agency, SM C&C, also shared a press release (via OSEN) announcing the news. He will reportedly get married in a small, private ceremony in November.

“The wedding ceremony will be held privately at a gathering with close relatives. We ask for your understanding for not being able to share details of the schedule so that they can share their blessings quietly and reverently,” part of the statement read.
The agency asked the public to continuously support the actor, especially now that he will become a head of a family.
The exact date of the wedding is yet to be publicized.
Lee Hak Joo Will Continue Working As An Actor
After the news, Disney+ revealed that Lee Hak Joo’s new drama series, Old Detective, will air on the platform next month.
Starring Lee Sung Min, the drama will explore the story of a detective (played by Lee Sung Min) as he becomes a suspect in a murder case involving a colleague. He also suffers from blackmail after the incident. After receiving a call, he decides to find out who has been framing him.
Lee Hak Joo and Lee Sung Min will work with Jin Goo and Kyung Soo Jin in the series.
