The Fact first revealed Kyeon Mi Ri’s plans in a report on Monday. According to the news outlet, Lee Da In’s mother wants to donate congratulatory gift money to disabled and vulnerable children.
The report particularly mentioned that the gift money would be given to people in need through the Korea Information Society for the Disabled.

The actress is known for her charitable deeds in the past years. She has been notably donating the sales from the laundry mat she established in Huamdong, Yongsan-gu, to those with disabilities.
However, fans found something off about Kyeon Mi Ri’s move.
Fans Called Out Kyeon Mi Ri Over Shocking Move
In the Korean online community, theqoo, fans called out Kyeon Mi Ri for actually donating the gift money to the foundation she created. Some also accused her of trying to clean her image through the donation.
Among the comments read:

However, the CEO of Symbiosis Sympathy, Lee Geum Joo, expressed his dismay following the allegations that Kyeon Mi Ri owns the foundation. The family’s representatives also shared a similar statement to debunk the rumors.
